5 Books For The Career Inspired Traveller

It may come as no surprise to you that most of us now are very career minded. We can do it all in the digital age and I cannot tell you how grateful I am for that. In a self made world being self motivated is most of the battle. You are riddled with self doubt, hardships, questions you didn’t know you would face, competition that comes out of no where and that’s just to start.

That’s why I love these books. They’re fun, witty, charming and all around awesome for us who want to take control of our lives and dive headfirst into our dreams!

So whether it’s becoming a blogger, photographer, opening up your own business or simply wanting to better yourself here are some perfect books for the career inspired!

#GirlBoss

If you haven’t heard of GirlBoss you’re living under a rock. GirlBoss is Sophia Amoruso journey of how she was broke, selling vintage clothes on Ebay, to building her empire that is now know as NastyGal (one of my favourite shopping websites ever). She shares career advice, entrepreneurial tips and motivates girls to go out and get what they want.

Leave Your Mark

A woman’s journey up the fashion empire Aliza shares how she climb to the top through perseverance, dedication and hard work. Her writing is down to Earth and real and she believes you should earn what you deserve so if it’s time for a raise she’ll tell you how to get it! Really inspiring read.

You Are A Badass

How to stop doubting yourself and start living an awesome life. Who doesn’t want to be motivated and inspired to start living the life of their dreams? Full of quotes, humour and a few swear words Jen Sincero really does make you feel like a badass at the end of it all!

How To Be A Parisian Wherever You Are

Possibly the most popular book of the year (last year) How To Be A Parisian is witty, smart, charming and fun. Four women share their secrets on men, food and everything a Parisian woman is while still making them human. A must have!

Steal Like An Artist

This tiny pocket sized book is seriously the realist thing (yes I said realist). It made me understand that everything is stolen. Nothing is original and if you see something? Do it better. I love the honesty and think this easy to read book is a must have for a kick in the bum motivation!
