5 Things To Do On A Lazy Sunday

While I am a travel blog first and foremost, not all of us can travel all the time – yet. I also feel like my readers can use some extra fun content and since I was a barista for two years I know a lot about the romance of life that goes on on Sundays, whether it’s making your favourite cup of coffee, grabbing a book or recovering from a night out I think we can all appreciate the chillness of Sundays.

So while you’re planning your dream vacation, or maybe you’ve just gotten back from one and need some downtime, I know I did, I have a few things you can do for your perfect lazy Sunday!

Here we go, things to do on a lazy Sunday:

5 things to do on a lazy sunday

Make yourself a hearty breakfast

With some coffee or tea of course. It still weirds me out that some people don’t eat breakfast. I literally go to bed early so I can wake up and have breakfast with coffee. My new favourite coffee creamer is Silks Vanilla Almond coffee creamer. It’s sooooo good I highly recommend.

Bake something

Cookies, scones, muffins, maybe a pie if you’re ambitious. Baking always puts me in the zone. Throw on some music like Black Keys or a Youtube remix

Plan a trip

Get comfy and start looking at cute places to stay on your dream vacation. Pinterest is always my first choice when looking for travel photos and when looking for places to stay. It’s easy to get lost on Pinterest and you suddenly find you have 18 tabs open but that’s okay, it’s a lazy Sunday, you got time to look through all of them.

Do some yoga

Or just stretching. I’m bad for not stretching after runs or workouts so I always make sure I do some extra stretching on Sundays to help my poor leg muscles for Mondays. Throw on a YouTube video and follow along. It’s easy and quick!

Put on a good movie or TV series

Aren’t lazy sundays meant for chill movies and snacks? My favourite snacks are dates, beet chips and hummus or good old popcorn. Maybe throw in a chai if you’re feeling crazy. Or better yet eat one of those fresh cookies you just baked with a chai! Perfect. Don’t know what to watch? Check out these Netflix series to binge on!

What do you like to do on Sundays? Chill out or get things done? Do you have a Sunday habit?
