Cartems Donuterie Vancouver

Before my trip to Victoria to visit my cousin Aaron and I decided to spend a couple days in Vancouver to explore the city since neither of us had been there in years. On my way out the door to the airport I was stopped by my roommate who told me I have to go to Cartems Donuterie and try the donuts.

Oddly enough my cousin texted me when I landed in Vancouver and told me to grab her a donut from Cartems Donuterie and bring them with me. With two referrals I knew it had to be good especially since my cousin is a huge food lover (snob) like me.

Well I can honestly my life has never revolved around donuts before until Vancouver. That city is a huge donut eating metropolis and Cartems Donuterie is where it’s at. Located in Gastown it’s a quick walk away for the sky train or Granville St. for anyone looking for quirky treats. They also cater to vegans which I think it really cool.

I got the vegan earl grey donut and Aaron got the chocolate chai. I went back for a vegan smoked maple walnut and mistakenly got my cousin one too bring back.. she’s allergic to walnuts. Whoops.

I highly recommend coming here if you have time and try some donuts! They’re are little pricy for a donut. $3 dollars to be exact but they are worth it for their quality and taste.

Donuts or cupcakes? Where’s you favourite treat spot?

Before I clicked on this post I thought “…maybe not one to read seeing as I don’t eat dairy and this will be torture’, but low and behold, SO happy to see they do vegan donuts!!

This has been added to our Vancouver to do list! 🙂 Gas Town is on there anyway because it looks so ‘English’ to our eyes, kind of home from home…but Gas Town AND donuts I can actually eat = heaven! I can’t wait to share this with everyone!

Gastown does have a very English influence I think! And you’ll be in heaven in Vancouver they have lots of vegan options everywhere you just have to do a little research for the best places :] But definitely try the donuts! They’re so good and perfect 😛
      Cheers Flora!

I think I would have to try BOTH the vegan earl grey and the chocolate chai. What amazing combos! I haven’t explored Vancouver much but will definitely check this place out if I visit! xx Lisa

I’m not a big fan of donuts, only if it’s Krispy Kreme original donuts, but this one looks really yummy. The selections are quite new for me so this is a must try! Thanks for sharing 🙂
