Happy Canada Day!!

While I love travelling and exploring other countries Canada will always be my wonderful home. I love the mountains and the snow and the camping and all of our great lakes. I like our 9 month winter even though most people here think I’m crazy. I even like all the little quirks and cliche Canadian things like how we always say “sorry” and “eh?

When I come home from a long trip overseas I am constantly reminded of how I take the beauty and familiarity of my country for granted.

It’s always funny when you go somewhere and you realize while your busy exploring other countries you never really explore yours to the fullest. I’ve met many Australian’s who haven’t left there states and Europeans who have even left their cities. I always think, “Why aren’t you exploring more?!” and then I remember I still have so much of Canada to see and experience.

Happy Birthday Canada!

How much of your country have you seen?

It’s so true! I’ve seen very little of Australia. But it’s definitely on my list. I can’t wait to see more of Canada through you! I’ve never been, but I’d love to see Canada covered in snow one day for myself. 🙂

Same here it’s so hard to see your country as a top priority of “must see’s” I hope you do one day! The mountains are gorgeous in the winter :]
