While travelling and exploring new places is the most exciting thing, I do have those days where I just want to relax and enjoy a good show. I know it sounds bad but sometimes you need a break from travelling! And I know we all have those moments where all we want to do it curl up in bed and flick on some entertainment. We’re human! Here are some reasons why it’s totally okay to be burnt out.
I always try to find some new series to start watching on Netflix because I have a bad habit of watching them all back to back with Aaron! I mean what’s better than some pizza, wine, and a good show?
My 5 Favorite Neflix Series To Watch On Off Days
Cuckoo – I’ll be honest it took me a few episodes to get the humour of this series but once I did I was addicted! It was so funny and such a good watch. It’s one of those shows you can just put on to enjoy. It’s about a British family who’s daughter brings home a new boyfriend from Thailand. If you want just a feel-good show then this is it!
Orange is the New Black – If you haven’t heard of this series you have been living under a rock! OitNB is one of my favourite series on Netflix. The series is based off a book that follows the life of Piper Chapman who’s drug related past catches up with her and she ends up in prison with her former romance – Alex.
Narcos – This is a darker series based on Pablo Escobar – A Columbian drug lord who was the wealthiest criminal in history. Watching this show was disturbing but soooo addicting. I highly recommend if you can handle some hard to watch moments.
The Fall – This is also a darker crime series based in Belfast, Ireland. The show follows two hunters – Detective Stella Gibson and a puppy dogged-eyed father Paul Spector who leads a double life. I devoured this series in a few days! It was amazing.
Death Note – Okay.. This is an anime. I know many people don’t watch it. But I watched this yearrsssss ago and I was soooo addicted. If you can get over the fact that it’s an animated series you will love it! It is such a mind game. I guess from writing this I kind of like mind game shows? The show is about a boy named “Light” who finds a book that give you extreme power – Whoever name is written in the book will die. It sounds morbid but I loved it all the way till the end!
