The Best Places To Eat In Edmonton

baijiu Edmonton sakura spritz

Moving to Vancouver has brought on a lot of ‘I’m going to miss Edmonton’ feels. My favourite thing about Edmonton is the food we have. It’s seriously some of the best in the world and I’m not just saying that because I live here. I hope you like this list of the best places to eat in Edmonton! I know I am a regular at every place listed.

The Best Places To Eat In Edmonton

Baijiu – If you follow my Instagram you’ll know this is my go to spot. I can’t get enough of this place. The vibe is very underground Shanghai with a mix of hip hop. Their dishes are so unique to anything I’ve seen in Edmonton and their signature cocktails are a must try. My favourite drink is the sakura spritz while Aaron’s new found drink is renshengfenghuangjiangthang.. no that’s not a spelling mistake lol. My favourite things to get are the pineapple buns, tofu bao and when they get it back the vegetable tempura. So mad they took that off the menu!

Italian Parlour – Again you’ll know I mention this place about a hundred times on Instagram but it’s one of the best places to eat in Edmonton. When Aaron and I want to go out for dinner or want to order in Italian Parlour is our first choice. It helps the restaurant is two blocks away but I seriously can’t get enough of their pizza. I usually get the cauliflower bites and then the blueberry pizza but instead of prosciutto I get arugula. So good.

The Moth – A new favourite among Edmontonians. This is the best vegan cafe in my opinion. They have the best chai pancakes and I love their cardamon rose latte. You should read their menu everything is drool worthy.

Dorinku – often overlooked since I live downtown but this Japanese restaurant is one of the best. I love their avocado rolls.

New York Bagel Cafe – One of the more expensive brunch places in Edmonton but so worth it. Their bagels are unreal and I am in love with their Hawaiian latte. A must go to breakfast spot for anyone stopping by in Edmonton.

Remedy Cafe – A not so fast food staple almost everyone in Edmonton has heard of. They are famous for their spicy chai’s and their Indian wraps. My fav is the vegan chicken chana

Duchess Bake Shop– A little French inspired bakery that has made international headlines. This cafe is sought after by many travellers. Their macaroons and ginger cookies are the best!

Julius Barios – The best Mexican food you’ll eat in Edmonton. I always get the enchiladas and as soon as you sit down the waiter brings you chips and salsa. In the summer time their patio is one of the most sought after spots to grab bulldogs (a margarita was a beer in it incase you didn’t know haha).

the best places to eat in Edmonton Bodega – A new favourite of mine. Enjoy happy hour wines from 4-6 with tapa inspired dishes. You’ll find grilled asparagus with parmesan, patatas bravas and an assortment of cheese choices. A great dinner date spot.

KB & Co – This is the best healthy cafe spot! The have smoothie bowls, falafel bowls, waffles and these date cinnamon rolls that are a must buy. My favourite thing to get is the acai bowl with an almond milk latte.
