Paris: The Best Things To Do And Eat

As a lover of lists I figured what better way to help plan a trip than to make lists for you! Lists just keeps everything organized and helps you prioritize what you want to see and do.

The Best Things To Do In Paris Checklist

Visit the Eiffel Tower – Can you really say you’ve been to Paris if you haven’t gone up the Eiffel Tower?

Arc De Triomphe – Climb 284 swirling stairs all the way to the top to find one of the most beautiful views in Paris! There’s a tunnel that goes under the round-a-bout so you don’t have to dodge traffic like I did my first time! Oops

Have a macarron at Laduree – Perhaps one of the most famous bakeries in Paris! You really can’t go wrong eating a macaroon anywhere but Laduree knows their stuff!

Get a real hot chocolate – It tastes like melted chocolate.. because it is. No powders for Parisians!

Have a croissant for breakfast

Visit the Notre Dame – It’s hard to miss this beautiful church. Climb to the top!

Stroll through St. Germain – It’s the “real” Paris if I say so myself. Get lost in cafes and flower shops through those beautiful Parisian architecture and balconies

Head to the Latin Quarters – Part of the St. Germain area. Grab some cheap pastries and take in what it means to be a Parisian

Go shopping at Galerie Lafayette – Quite possibly the most beautiful shopping mall in the world. There’s also a roof you can go on!

Drink wine on a patio – If you aren’t into wine then here is where you start! I don’t think there is such thing as bad wine in Paris and you really feel Parisian when you sip a glass nibbling on baguettes

Go people watching – From a patio, bench, whatever. Maybe get a nice lunch with an espresso or du vin and simply enjoy the moment

Go through a stroll along the Seine River – It’s pretty hard to miss the river since most of Paris’s famous sights are dotted along the river

Take a day trip to Versailles – A quick train ride away is home to Marie Antoinette! You’ll fall in love

Walk on Pont Alexandre iii – A beautiful bring with a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower

Visit Sacre Coeur – Another beautiful monument in old Paris

Enjoy the view from Trocadero – It offers a really nice view of the Eiffel Tower and Paris

Pretty much eat every pastry – The Parisians know how to do baked goods!

See the clock from Musee D’orsay

Take a look through the “Bouquinistes” – These green shacks along the river house vintage and one of a kind books.

See the Mona Lisa at the Louvre – And just go to the Louvre! Don’t really need to say more

Go through a walk through the Tuileries Garden

Eat a nutella crepe – Yes you are going to be doing a lot of eating in Paris so don’t try to fight it! You’ll lose

Sip warm wine – I was more than impressed at how tasty the warm red wine and cinnamon mixture was! Perfect for a crisp Parisian day

Indulge in cheese – Cheese, wine, baguettes.. You can’t go wrong with this simply but amazing combo

Walk though Montmartre – This hill was once home to Monet and Picasso!
