#untamedandfree

shibuya crossing

6 months ago I had no idea how many of us were bitten by the travel bug.

I didn’t know that there would be so many people out there all striving for the same thing – to live a creative life designed by themselves and to travel. To see the world and still be able to do a job you love.

Being Untamed and Free doesn’t just have to be a creative outlet but also represents that you chose your future and are working towards, or already have, your dream job. Your dream life.

How often do we see people doing what they don’t necessarily want to do? I know at the moment I am certainly not working my dream job but I am working towards it. I am putting in my do’s and trying not to get swept away by “reality.” It’s pretty easy to doubt yourself – It’s really hard to believe in yourself as cheesy as that sounds.

Being Untamed and Free to me means being who I am and not giving into the pressures of the world. I want to draw and write and travel and take beautiful photos and somehow make my passions into a career. 50 years ago this would be a harder dream to accomplish but with todays social media and demand for creatives my future isn’t so far fetched now.

All you have to do is put in the work, keep on working, and don’t let anything diminish your drive.

In order to connect with those who have thirsty hearts and desires to design their own lifestyle whether it be in the arts, marketing, physical therapy, professional traveller or nursing or working at your local coffee shop I have created the (or borrowed because 8 other people have used this hashtag.. oh well) hashtag #untamedandfree so you can share your adventures in life and so I can check you out and be able to connect with other like minded people.

I love seeing peoples travel photos and am always looking for inspiration.

What do you think of #untamedandfree? Do you have a hashtag yourself? I hope to hear from you and to creep Instagram and see all of your photos!
