You’ve Never Seen Budapest This Beautiful

On my last day in Budapest, confused about flying home or not, I got to witness Budapest at its most beautiful state. Shrouded in a blanket of fog and mystery.

I wandered around Budapest taking in the eerie calmness before flying to Paris for the night and couldn’t help but feel lucky. In all the photos I have seen of Budapest I had never quite seen anything like I was experiencing and appreciated every minute of it.

Have you ever been to Budapest? Do you prefer misty weather or warm summer weather? Eerie or vibrant?

Budapest looks stunning in a grim kind of way, and I like that. I’m weird when it comes to fog and such. It feels so eerie and so mysterious and I love it that way. I get tired of pretty and opulent, and try to go for something different. Budapest is dark and just plain awesome.

It was definitely mysterious! I’ve never seen fog so thick you could not see anything across the river and barley 10 feet in front of you. I completely agree. In Budapest you can get those summer days but eeriness always holds that bit more magic. You should go to Prague in November as well because it is definitely a foggy medival fairytale :]

Thank you! I felt very lucky to be there on such a foggy day. I’m vise versa to you! I like eerie and then some bright and vibrant days 😛 I hope you make it to Budapest!
