  • Where To Stay In Athens For The Best View
I can’t believe it has taken me so long to visit Athens and this Airbnb had the best view. Aaron and I arrived by ferry from Mykonos and cabbed through the streets of one of the oldest cities. Our Airbnb was nestled in the heart of Kolonaki, an area of the city not to far from the Acropolis. […]
  • Where To Stay In Mykonos – Meet Your New Favourite Getaway
For me, Greece has always been about Santorini. Mykonos was just a bonus place I was travelling too because it is one of the most popular Greece travel destinations. I had no idea how much I was going to love Mykonos. It is hands down one of the most amazing places I have ever been […]
  • My Favourite Things In New York
Living in New York was my dream. I had the whole Carrie Bradshaw, free spirited writer, roaming the streets of Manhattan lifestyle in my head and I would be lying if I said I didn’t want to move there. I actually started looking for apartments in Soho only a few months before moving to Vancouver.  […]
  • How I’m Taking Charge Of 2019
shop the dress here, similar here & here   It’s halfway though January and there’s this fire in my belly to be better, do better and be happier. For the first time in years I feel like I am in full control of my future. I don’t know if it’s the fact that I am […]
  • 5 Things I’ve Learned As A “Struggling Artist”
Cozy Knit Dress I use the term struggling artist loosely. I don’t think of myself as a struggling artist, more of a “just starting to take this creative endeavour seriously” artist. But as I have moved to a new city and basically started my life over I guess I qualify as a struggling artist. Life […]
  • What You Need To Know About Hiking The Tiger Leaping Gorge
Hiking the Tiger Leaping Gorge is one of, if not most, incredible things I have ever done. The hike started as an idea but one day in Chengdu we were making dumplings with a group of people when I heard someone say “The Tiger Leaping Gorge.” After some cheap beer, heavy conversation and vegetarian dumplings […]
  • How To Move To Vancouver
Similar dress: here, here, here & here  We decided to move to Vancouver. It seems like only a week ago Aaron and I were driving 12 hours in an SUV stuffed full of our apartment, coffees in our hand, wondering what the fuck we had done. Now, over seven months later, I can say Vancouver finally […]
  • Edmonton Travel Guide By A Local
As a former local of Edmonton, having moved into the city about five years ago from the countryside, I have a pretty good grasp on what’s good with this winter city. We have a gorgeous river valley, some pretty pyramids, and if you come over the summer you’ll find yourself in a pool of festivals […]
  • 3 Weeks In Italy Itinerary
Over a year later I am still dreaming about Italy. There is something so magical and grounding about Italy. It’s like you are transported into an older, simpler, more beautiful time. After travelling to Rome for a few days Aaron and I fell in love with the Italian style. The markets, the history, the fresh […]
  • 9 Days In Ubud: Bali Travel Guide
Going to Bali was one of the most special trips I have ever done. I’ve travelled to over 20 countries and nothing has stood out quite like the uniqueness of Bali. Everything about the tranquil island allured me. All the vegan food, the fresh fruit, the mossy covered temples and that laid back lifestyle that […]
