The New Years has been nothing short of amazing. When you think of New Years you think of new beginnings and fresh starts, but for me, it’s been the same for a few years now. For a while I felt like I was in a career limbo, with no real direction in life, but now my dreams are literally coming true and I am so excited to live life! Not that I wasn’t before but now it’s just funner haha.
Aaron and I have finally made the decision to move to Vancouver in April and we are taking the steps to build our life there. I have always wanted to move somewhere new. I mean, I thought it would be somewhere in Europe or New York but Vancouver is just as good of place as any. Plus it’s still close to home and I don’t have to worry about visas.
Vancouver is by the mountains, beaches, hiking areas and has the bustling city life I’ve come to love. Not to mention all the cute cafes, restaurants and rooftops I can explore! So exciting.
With a big move like this I of course need to save some money. I think my biggest spending comes from food (someone needs to help me budget groceries) but something else I’m guilty of is spending money on clothes. Which brings me to talk about Tosave.
There’s nothing wrong with treating yourself with clothing but I live in Edmonton where we get all four seasons. Spring, summer, fall and cold ass winters. I am constantly trying to update/perfect my wardrobe because half the time its freezing and the other half it’s scolding hot. Hence my massive closet and dresser overflowing with jackets, dresses, parkas and workout gear. When Tosave contacted me I was more than curious. They are kind of like eBay which used to be my jam in high school. All things Kawaii and anime please!
Just like eBay, you get clothes at bargain prices which I definitely needed. I mean Vancouver is probably one of the most expensive cities to live in so anywhere I can cut costs is going to help me out! Plus Aaron and I are looking at buying an apartment so my adult hat is on and I need to be responsible.
(I got this grey sweater dress from Tosave! I can’t believe how well it fit – perfect for a Canadian winter! I loved that it came above my knees because I can wear it with these knee nigh boots 🙂 )
I was really surprised at the quality of clothes I got. Tosave is basically Forever 21 but more organized lol. I got this really pretty women off shoulder mini dress (pictured above!) which I really like. I love when you show collarbones because I think you look so feminine and dainty.
I also decided on a turtle neck grey dress, a swoop back bathing suit and a pink bikini top (because in my head it was summer when I was choosing haha) and I also got a white coverup with a swoop back as well.
All of the clothes fit exactly like they said online. With Tosave you need to take your measurements and buy the sizes accordingly. Some clothes I was a small and others I was a large so you need to pay attention when choosing sizes.
All in all I would buy from Tosave. The shipping took about a month in total to get here which I wasn’t to fussed about and for the prices I defiantly say check them out if you’re on a budget.
This swimsuit is perfect! I was so sceptical ordering a bathing suit online because I find they never fit right on me. They’re either to tight in the hips or to baggy around the waist but this women backless monokini fit like a dream.
This is one of my favourite pieces I got from Tosave! It’s the women backless mini dress It will be perfect for Vancouver because it’s so light and soft – perfect for the beaches! I never like to be walking around in just a bikini so this is a perfect cover 🙂 Underneath I’m wearing this pink women push up bikini top which wasn’t bulky and could actually be worn as an actual bra. Basically everything I got was preparing for Van.. 😛
Which piece is your favourite? And where do you love to shop I want to know!?
